Katherine Compitus
Katherine is a bilingual licensed clinical social worker in New York and a DSW candidate in Clinical Social Work at New York University. Her research focuses primarily on clinical social work, the social determinants of health, and the human-animal bond. She is also the founder and chairman of Surrey Hills Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization providing veterinary social work services, including trauma-informed animal-assisted therapy for abuse survivors.
